ExoClick.com Scam

exoclick scam ad network reviewI have been reviewing a lot of ad networks recently and I only put up network listings which are good to work with. You might be knowing that I don’t put those ad networks which are worthless in my opinion. Because many ad networks don’t survive long and are usually scam. They just come and go. Exoclick has been online for many years. Someone said they are the forth largest ad network. However, if you are thinking from a publisher point of view, they are worth shit. That’s because they DO NOT pay you. There are hundreds of sad stories from publishers. Exoclick loves advertisers because that’s how the money flows in. They hate publishers because they are going to lose a cut from that money. This is the ethics they follow, do not pay publishers. They are the scam ad network.

I usually work with direct advertisers on my sites, but since I had few ad spots available, I went to try Exoclick. A few days ago I joined ExoClick and they happily approved my website. I was working hard on my traffic.

For those who don’t know, ExoClick want their publishers to request their first payment. That means no matter how much money you make and how much traffic you deliver, you need to beg them for your first payment.

So, since I was working hard on my traffic, I got a balance of $50+ in my account in two weeks and since it was written on their website that publishers have to request their first payment, I did it. I asked them to activate my payment so that I can receive this as well as future payments. Within half an hour I received an email from their support which reads like this:

Hello XXXXX,

Thank you for contacting ExoClick Customer Services regarding your account/payment.
On review of your site(s) performance we have decided to reject your sites as they are not meeting the expectations of our advertisers.
As such no pending earnings will be paid, as some advertisers will need to be compensated.
Additionally your account has been closed as we will be not be able to work with you in the future.
We wish you well in your future endeavors.

exoclick - scam - account blocked

You see, $50 is not a big money. The way you follow your business ethics matters. By giving a blatant reply that the site doesn’t meet the expectation and hence we are closing the account is just plain wrong. Because you had already approved my website when I joined your network.

If you think the site doesn’t meet your expectation, then it is your duty to reject the website on first hand and not after a user is requesting a payment. I wonder how many publishers have got paid by them, because what I see is that they don’t pay and if they do pay, they only pay their high end publishers. The small time publishers don’t matter to them.

To all my readers, I would just say to avoid Exoclick because publishers don’t matter to them. They don’t work on ethics, they don’t work on reasons. All that matters to them is Money that flows in from advertisers.

Worst!

I give them a zero rating their lack of professionalism and their support. I liked their dashboard panel, but that doesn't matter because what matters is the ethics.
